Safran Helicopters, an aircraft maintenance group, has announced that its Support-By-The-Hour (SBH) service range now offers new packages to provide coverage for more customers.
SBH is Safran’s maintenance-by-the-hour service, which currently covers 40 per cent of its customer turbines’ flying hours. The new SBH solutions are: SBH5Star for civil operators of up to five aircraft; SBHClassic for fleets of six-plus aircraft; and SBHM for military air arms.
“Over the past year, 100 customers subscribed to one of our SBH® contracts,” commented Frederic Bugeon, Safran Helicopter Engines VP Sales, Marketing and Customer Satisfaction. “With these offers, we are tailoring our service to each customer mission and fleet to maintain their levels of satisfaction as high as possible.”
Safran said that the service helps to make engine operating costs predictable, eliminate cash peaks, allow flexibility for scheduled and unscheduled MRO coverage and offer a wide variety of technical expertise options. Through the company’s Health Monitoring option, predictive maintenance actions can be taken.
