SAF makes Airbus order

SAF Group, a French civil operator, has expanded its fleet with an order for six new Airbus helicopters, which will take on a variety of roles, including EMS, mountain rescue, aerial work and passenger transport.

The group currently operates 44 Airbus helicopters, and the six new aircraft will be joining in 2019. The order consists of three light single aircraft and three light twin aircraft, to be operated in Metropolitan France and in the Reunion Island.

The service currently operates 24 H135 helicopters, making it one of the largest operators of the aircraft type in France.
