MD Helicopters partners with Thoroughbred Aviation in Texas, USA
The helicopter manufacturer has announced the expansion of its global network of service providers
In partnership with Thoroughbred Aviation, MD Helicopters (MDH) has welcomed the addition of a new Thoroughbred Aviation Authorized Service Center (ASC) located in Georgetown, Texas. The MD ASC will support MDH aircraft in Texas alongside a multi-year government contract for MD aircraft and the second MD network location for Thoroughbred Aviation.
The Vice President of Aftermarket Service and Support at MD Helicopters, Ryan Weeks, remarked: “By adding an ASC in Texas, we are better serving our customers with our trusted partners at Thoroughbred Aviation and expanding our network into a region that has one of the highest concentrations of MDs in the country.”
Thoroughbred Aviation’s Vice President, Joe Otte, continued: “We look forward to serving the helicopter community in this new region, bringing the excellent service and technical expertise we are known for across our other locations. With our broad range of services, including completions, avionics, paint and routine maintenance, we believe we offer one of the best-value one-stop shops in the nation,” he concluded.
Last year, MD Helicopters formed an Authorized Service Center Council representing its 40-member network in an effort to strengthen customer support for its global fleet.
