Joint air assault training by NATO forces
Polish Armed Forces facilitate joint NATO exercise
A joint exercise led by the Polish Armed Forces near the G2A Arena, Poland, allowed NATO forces to practice deployment and air assault tactics. This exercise and others like it enhances interoperability with NATO allies and partners and strengthens the regional relationships that have developed. The US Army’s 12th Combat Aviation Brigade (12th CAB) is among other units assigned to V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe, which works alongside NATO allies and regional security partners. Its mission is to provide combat ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retain command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European Theater.
