QAI Aviation expands capabilities and hangar space
The maintenance, repair and modification company now has around 100,000ft2 of total hangar space to provide services to the special missions sector
QAI Aviation has announced a significant expansion of its operations through a recent asset purchase that includes expanded hangar space at Rostraver Airport, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The new space expands the company’s footprint by an additional 15,000ft2, giving the company around 100,000ft2 of total hangar space.
“This strategic purchase marks a pivotal moment in QAI’s growth trajectory and underscores its commitment to enhancing service offerings and operational efficiency,” said QAI Aviation President Bob Sieber.
QAI Aviation is a provider of helicopter and fixed-wing maintenance, avionics, completions, and special missions aircraft.
The newly acquired assets include tooling equipment, engineering data, and facilities that will enable QAI Aviation to broaden its service capabilities, meet increasing market demand, and strengthen its competitive position within the industry. This expansion supports QAI’s ongoing mission to provide top-tier aviation services with the latest technology and superior performance.
“The addition of these assets enhances our operational capacity and reaffirms our dedication to delivering exceptional value to our customers. We are excited about the opportunities this expansion brings and look forward to leveraging these assets to drive innovation and efficiency,” said Sieber.
In neighboring state Ohio, CNC Technologies recently agreed a contract with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
