NBAA-BACE – showcasing sustainable business aviation
The business aviation community’s continued reach toward ever-greater sustainable horizons will be displayed throughout the 2022 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), taking place from 18-20 October in Orlando, FL
This year’s event will center around the themes of safety, sustainability, security, innovation and workforce development, with dozens of sessions and presentations addressing these key focus areas for the industry.
For example, returning to NBAA-BACE is the Business Aviation Sustainability Summit, focused on advancing the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and other technologies furthering the industry’s commitment to zero carbon emissions by 2050. NBAA-BACE will also feature an expanded display of electric- and hybrid-powered advanced air mobility (AAM) vehicles that stand to revolutionize zero-emissions transportation. The event’s Innovation Zone, located on the show floor, will host several forward-looking sessions on building a next-generation industry workforce, advancing security, promoting operational safety and more. Advanced and innovative technologies will also be showcased in the approximately 100 business aircraft at the Main Aircraft Display at nearby Orlando Executive Airport (ORL), ranging from single-engine piston aircraft to large intercontinental business jets and rotorcraft, to a variety of light aircraft at the Indoor Aircraft Display on the OCCC exhibit floor.
Among the keynote speakers confirmed for NBAA-BACE 2022 are famed NASCAR driver and third-generation champion Dale Earnhardt Jr. and acclaimed astrophysicist, author and science commentator Neil deGrasse Tyson.
Offering more exhibits, more aircraft and more opportunities for education and networking than any other event dedicated to the business aviation industry, NBAA-BACE consistently ranks among the largest trade shows in the US, bringing together approximately 25,000 industry professionals from around the globe
