Motorflug delivers EC135 to Bundespolizei
Aerospace firm Motorflug Baden-Baden has delivered an EC135 helicopter to the German Federal Police (Bundespolizei) Aviation Group
The EC135, delivered to the Bundespolizei on 11 October 2024, will serve as part of the German police force’s operational fleet, conducting missions such as aerial surveillance.
The pre-owned rotorcraft was sold to Motorflug in the third quarter of 2023 by helicopter distributor Rotortrade, which initially acquired the aircraft in Malaysia.
Following import and registration, the helicopter was then converted by Motorflug to the fleet standard of the Bundespolizei at its headquarters in Rheinmünster. Upgrades included new avionics and paint.
The German government also signed a contract with Airbus for up to 44 aircraft for the Bundespolizei earlier this year.
