Lieutenant Colonel (DR) SOH Feng Wei is a dually accredited aviation medicine physician and family physician from the RSAF. Between 2020 and 2022, he was the Commanding Officer of 1 Medical Squadron, the RSAF medical unit specializing in SAR and heli-medevac operations. During his tenure in 1 Medical Squadron, he oversaw the training and equipping of SAR and heli-medevac medical teams, and the successful conduct of multiple heli-medevac missions. These included several complex rescues of patients with severe Covid-19 pneumonia from commercial ships.
