Jeff Berry

Jeff led the aerial firefighting fleet for British Columbia Wildfire Service (BCWS) in Canada for 17 years prior to joining Conair in 2013. While at BCWS he worked with a team of fire professionals to develop a centralized airtanker program, managing the forest fire aerial response for over 50 aircraft, covering 944,000sqkm of diverse geography, averaging 1,600 wildfires each year. The cornerstone of this program was a state-of-the-art computerized dispatch system that compiled data from multiple sources, allowing the organization to strategically respond faster and more effectively to wildfires. Now at Conair, Jeff partners with agencies around the world to provide solutions to their aerial firefighting needs. His expertise is knowing how each aircraft type works optimally with another, within specific environmental and terrain variables, as well as within operational and cost constraints.
