Heli-One and ITP Aero to develop rotor-wing MRO products and services
This latest agreement will expand their relationship to support military, para-public and private aircraft fleets in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific markets
Heli-One, a provider of rotor-wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, has announced it is expanding its relationship with ITP Aero, an engine manufacturer, to deliver novel and additional MRO products and services for their joint global customer base.
This latest agreement will expand their relationship to support military, para-public and private aircraft fleets in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific markets.
The areas Heli-One has identified to deliver enhanced customer value include utilizing its global presence to integrate or extend ITP Aero’s engine diagnosis and health monitoring service onto a variety of major aircraft – for example, the S-92, AW189, AW139, and AS332 – for existing and new customers.
ITP Aero will gain access to Heli-One’s global footprint of maintenance shops and logistics services, and jointly deploy mobile repair teams with Heli-One to offer services such as engine removal and installation, module swaps and borescoping.
Carolyn Forsyth, General Manager, Heli-One, said: “Our enhanced relationship with ITP means we can combine our complementary services to deliver efficient and effective solutions for a wider base of customers globally. We operate in different locations and have found that, by working together, we can provide a stronger full-service offering and greater capacity to match customers’ evolving needs. Together, we will remove logistical and procurement barriers for highly specialized services, deliver maximal value for our customers, and keep more aircraft flying around the world.”
