EnB AIR purchases Bell 505 helicopter
EnB AIR provides aerial firefighting in South Korea as well as other commercial helicopter services
This is the first Bell 505 helicopter sale to a commercial entity in South Korea, following the Republic of Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration selection of the Bell 505 as the new military helicopter trainer in 2022.
“We are honored that EnB AIR has signed a purchase agreement for their first Bell 505 helicopter and look forward to ensuring a smooth delivery and supporting them as they begin operations,” said Cho Choon Ho, Regional Sales Manager, Korea, Bell. “With over 100,000 global flight hours, the Bell 505 continues to set the standard as the next-generation light single helicopter for multiple missions. We are confident Korean operators will appreciate the value it provides.”
Established in 2020, EnB AIR provides helicopter services focused on aerial patrol, pest control, material transport, and forest firefighting. Upon delivery, the 505 will be the first Bell helicopter in EnB AIR’s fleet.
With over 500 delivered worldwide, the Bell 505 program has collectively achieved more than 100,000 flight hours. In February 2023, a Bell 505 became the world’s first single-engine helicopter to fly on 100% sustainable aviation fuel.
Designed for safety, efficiency and advanced technology, the five-seat Bell 505 features a fully integrated Garmin G1000H NXi avionics suite and Safran Arrius 2R engine with dual-channel full authority digital engine control (FADEC).
