CNC Technologies upgrades Florida FWC aircraft
CNC Technologies has completed upgrades to a Cessna Caravan and two Bell 505s operated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)
Each of the Bell 505s has been fitted with an L3Harris WESCAM MX-10 imager, Shotover ARS-750 moving map system, Macro-Blue monitors, and a Trakka TLX searchlight.
Meanwhile, the Cessna Caravan has been fitted with a FLIR Star SAFIRE 380X HD imager, installed on a Southeast Aerospace side mount. The plane has also been equipped with the Shotover ARS-750 system and Macro-Blue monitors, mounted on a Southeast Aerospace tactical flight officer (TFO) console.
As part of the contract, CNC will provide 24/7 support and training to FWC staff “to support the deployment of the complex aircraft mission suites”, adding that “the advanced technology … will assist FWC in performing a wide variety of wildlife, law enforcement, and search and rescue missions”.
CNC Technologies has also been working with Airbus and Metro Aviation to provide the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Florida with three fully missionized aircraft.
