Captain Brian Kimaniis a line pilot for AMREF Flying Doctors (AFD) in Nairobi, Kenya. After completing his degree in commerce at the University of Nairobi, Brian set out to start his journey in aviation and received his pilot license in 2015. After working for an air charter company, Brian performed several humanitarian missions in South Sudan for Doctors Without Borders. After moving to Tanzania to work for the Coastal Service in the Serengeti National Park, the sandy regions of Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, Brian relocated back to his home country, Kenya, where he started to work for AFD as a Pilatus PC-12 and Cessna Citation C560XLS pilot. To this day, Brian enjoys seeing the endless skies and magnificent sunsets from up in the clouds and continues to be an aviation enthusiast.
